3d works

I don't know how to classify my works in this section, whether sculptures or bas-reliefs, paintings-objects or more simply paintings. When in doubt I chose to call them 3D Works. It seemed like the best choice to me.

They are drawings or paintings made directly on the objects that I collect over the years. Stones, old plaster casts, books, knives, ribbons, worn aprons or old photos. They lie silent in a corner until one day, as if by magic, they manifest themselves. And they talk to me.

So I create a kind of house for them, which is also a box but also a coffin. In lead, because I love lead, its marked surface and its ductility. Then I glue it onto the rigid cardboard and lastly I put the screws at the corners in order to reinforce in me the idea of their durability.

They are fixed forever. And they tell stories that have to do with our lives.
